The Departure. In Positano there is one road in, which can take hours, or you can arrive in style by boat. This is the spot where boat taxis line up to take people to private beaches, or hotels on the water, or larger boats to Capri, Sorrento, or anywhere else on the Amalfi Coast. Its their version of Grand Central Station, and can get a bit crazy in the summer. Fun to watch the boat captains maneuver in and out of the busy bay.
