Hotel de Ville - Neo Renaissance Facade
Hotel de Ville - Neo Renaissance Facade
Everyday hundreds of tourists rush by the impressive Hotel de Ville in Paris, the largest City Hall in Europe. If you stop and look up you will see the intricacies of this neo renaissance facade decorated with 108 statues. My point of focus was not just capturing the appreciation of the details of the architecture but focusing on the art that was commissioned to decorate the exterior in honor of these important Parisians. In this image is Cardinal de Richelieu, Le Suer, Dalembert and P.L. Courier tucked away on the top levels of this facade.
