For any art history aficionado, you will appreciate L’Art Grec by sculptor Michel Beguine in 1900. The Art of Greece, was one of the statues that were commissioned to represent art from around the world and the history of art. This statue is considered a precursor to Art Nouveau as it represents women, strong and masters of their own destiny. It is positioned between the pillars on the colonnade to the left of the main entrance to the Grand Palais on its eastern facade.
